Our Kickstarter campaign was fully funded in under 20 hours, we managed to unlock three out of our four stretch goals, and finished funding at 201%.

 

We are so grateful for all of our supporters, backers, family, friends and fans for helping us achieve a crucial step in our plan to bring more games to market. We are continuing to create and test play several other games that we are planning on bringing into production in the days to come.

Thank you all, and congrats to all of you who got your hands on any of the special edition decks "CityScape" and "TimberScape" that were only available during the Kickstarter.

While the game-plan (see what I did there?) has changed from where it was at the start of the year, Wolf Beard Games overall plan has not changed much. We have continued to put out high quality apparel and have been hard at work designing new and exciting games to be released in the coming months and years. With that said, we have encountered some set backs as the world has been fighting to deal with the COVID-19 Pandemic.

 

Our most notable delay is the launch of our Right to Farm Kickstarter campaign, which was slated to release in February/March originally. However with the current state of affairs, especially here in our home of New York, we felt it was necessary to push that release date back until the situation comes closer to being normal once again. With a delayed release date comes opportunity though, and has given us more time to create new content for Right to Farm, gather more artwork for upcoming expansions and stretch goals for the campaign and put more thoughts into the little details.

In addition to several other games that we hope to release throughout the year we are working on several projects ranging from podcasts to literary works. We are very excited for what's to come throughout this year and can't wait until we can gather around the table to play some games once again.

We will be offering two special edition decks throughout the campaign in edition to the standard edition decks. You can also get your hands on a custom Wolf Beard Games can koozie to show off your beverages with style.

There are also some stretch goals on the campaign that if we reach them will add even more value to your pledge at no extra cost to you. 

​

The campaign runs for 30 days but there are only a limited number of special edition decks to get your hands on so grab them up quickly!

As many of you know, we have a successful launch of our first game, Sheep Sleep Seep, earlier this year. It took us about a month longer than we had hoped but fulfillment is now well under way with almost all packages going out in the mail this week. If you backed one of the physical tiers of our projects your game will be in your hands before the end of the year, with the digital packages coming shortly thereafter.

If you missed your chance to get Sheep Sleep Seep through kickstarter don't worry, it will be available for you to purchase a retail copy in January 2020, along with the volume expansion if you wish.

We have several projects planned for 2020 but we are VERY excited about the first two that are coming out. You will know be able to get Wolf Beard Games merch! Launching right before the end of the year we will have t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and more available for purchase. Dropping in February we will be launching our second game on kickstarter called "Right to Farm", a family friendly, fast paced and visually stunning card game with all the artwork being done in hand painted water colors.
